Gyeran Jjim (Steamed Egg)

I just made this for breakfast. If you're like me, you have to have some type of meat with every meal. Egg is the quickest and easiest thing to make.


3 eggs
1/2 cup water
3 green onions
1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: 1/2 tsp sesame oil or red pepper flakes


Beat 3 eggs and 1/2 cup water in a microwave safe bowl. Add salt. Chop green onions and add to egg. You can stir in 1/2 tsp of sesame oil or 1 tsp red pepper flakes if you want.

Put plate over bowl and put in microwave for 4 minutes. Take out, stir egg, put back in the microwave for another 2 minutes.

Traditionally this dish is made by putting the bowl inside a pot of boiling water and steaming it, but this is the quick and easy way.
